Big Air, Small Ramp.

Went to Pittsburg's local skatepark to check out what was going on today. Not a lot was happening except the usual little kids running around with a few teens knowing what they were doin'.

 With the sun already going down I held the flash off to the left as I quickly stepped onto the ramp to get the shot from below before he came back down to land the trick.

Last year I had entered a few of my photos with one of them making it into the contest finalists, top 8% of all entries, which was published in the hardcover book Best of College Photography 2011. 

This year I'll be entering one of my more recently taken photos of Stephanie Feagins.

New Neighbors

Some of you, students of P.S.U., have known or heard of the "new neighbors" that live here in Pittsburg Kansas on Broadway. They are a group of people from California and Florida that own UTB Life$tyle Company. A wide span from media to clothing. I will be doing a little project with them throughout the semester. Kind of a short documentary of them moving into a town not knowing its layout. They are planning on having a barbershop, studio, and their clothing store all in this one building. During the night they wanted me to mention it will be a party house. More details on everything I've mentioned will come soon.
